Hair pin made with 1920's hand sewn sequin and pearl applique. This is a fabulous piece. Sequin is hand sewn onto a mesh backing bordered with tiny silver seed beads which defines the flower petals and a center of six pearls. In pristine condition. 2.1 inches diameter. Total length is 3.2 inches.
In the 1920's these appliques were used for earrings, brooches, as well as apparel adornments.
